    Can anyone point me to where the Turn Signal Flasher on a 22 ORP is? I think its behind and/or on top of the inside Fuse Block, but not sure.

    I need to replace the OEM Flasher with the LED compatible one, for my LED Turn Signal upgrade...

    It's a long list...
    The flasher relay ECU (that contained a physical relay) that was present on the 2010-19MY is no longer present on the 2020+MY. Toyota integrated that entire ECU into the new Instrument cluster for Pre-Collision Safety System Functions. It is a fully digital controlled circuit now. The box you see in the dash next to the inside fuse box is the towing converter relay (green case). What is it exactly you are trying to do?

    I'm getting ready to install LED Front Turn bulbs and the Tail-As-Turn kit in the rear. Figured I needed to replace the Flasher to prevent hyperflashing... Hopefully, the fancy new circuit won't choke on my LEDs...

    Some automotive LED manufacturers are incorporating resistors into their bulbs to simulate the series resistance of an incandescent bulb, to prevent hyperflash. LASFIT is one. I’m pleased with their turn signal and running light bulbs.

    Well, I can report that the Diode Dynamics 7443 Amber Turn Signal Bulbs and the 22 ORP DO NOT play well together... I'll be letting them know, and speaking to LASFIT to see if they are SURE their bulbs will work. Adding resistors is out of the question, as it is barely possible to get one hand on the sockets, and modding the wiring would be impossible, without removing the entire freaking headlight assemblies!

    I would go with Lasfit led bulbs, they're plug and play with built in resistors. I have them in my 4runner and have had no problems with them. I have the switch back white/amber in the front and amber in the back and they're super bright. Here's a video of them in action.

    Thanks for the vid... definitely going to go with the LASFITs up front. For the benefit of an old school mechanical engineer, who thinks electrons are the spawn of satan, and switchbacks are up on the Black Bear Road, what exactly does the "switchback" function do?

    Here’s what I used for my 18 ORP. I can’t imagine your 22 would take different bulbs.
    Front turn signals:

    But it would be best to double check with the Lasfit team.

    Tips:
    - Remember that these LED bulbs are polarity sensitive, if they don’t light up try reversing them in the socket.
    - Some of these bulbs are long and heavy. Make sure they fit snugly when you plug them in the socket. Bend the socket prongs a little to tighten them before installing the bulb

    Switchbacks are for those that want white running lights but switch to amber for the signal function.

    Yes, just returned from a long string of road trips and now catching up on posts.
    It’s a coincidence that today I just installed some new front LED turn signal bulbs. I removed 4 of the wheel well bolts to get the plastic shield to flex enough to get my arm up there. As you said, long sleeves are required, but it’s doable. If you have forearms like Popeye it will be difficult. If you do this on a warm day the plastic should flex more easily.

    After plugging each bulb into its socket be sure you test the bulbs for the correct polarity before installing the socket into the flasher housing.

    When I replaced my side markers years ago I used the same technique.

    BTW, the instructions for replacing the turn signal and side marker bulbs are in the owner manual.
