Whine on cold start up?

Just started to notice this on my 2019 32k miles.

Has anyone else experienced this? Going to schedule a service w/ the dealership to try and figure out.

 

Like supercharger whine? When it freezes outside and I start it up in the mornings it does make more noise than usual, could just be the belts or increase of air flow.

 

Kind of, only reason I noticed is the wife’s 22 trd sport does not make this sound during a cold start….

It almost sounds like my old xterra when it needed it’s timing chain replaced.

 

Is this noise with really cold outside temps?

 

Secondary Air Pump, totally normal. No worries.

 

You read my mind. My air pump is louder in really cold weather, that’s why I was wondering if maybe that was the OPs situation

 

yes, just noticed it when it was cold out, odd thing is the wife’s 22 does not make this sound, only the 19 does?
