It's supposed to give 1" lift in the front but I read a post on the other 4R forum where it gave 2" lift. I think that was with 5100 shocks. How much difference does it make to use a spring on the bottom setting of a shock like a 5100 so no preload vs having some preload to give some lift?

@Crikeymike you're usually the go to guy for all Dobinsons knowledge round these parts. Care to spring into action?

It might be an anomaly but it seems like dobison lifts always give wonky numbers that either differ from passenger to drivers side or you get a different amount of lift than advertised.

I guess it's hard to give definitive numbers with all the possible weight differences. It would be a pain to get too much lift and have to either adjust the back or redo the front.

Maybe they put it on a sagged suspension?

The last time I measured a bunch of 5th Gens new at a dealership, I got 3 different front and rear lift results among 5 different models.

21" from the center of the hub to the fender is what these would set it to, approximately, with stock weight and no additional preload from whatever struts are used.
