I just purchased a 2012 Limited and the auto running boards do not work. Can they be set to the deployed position all the time?

    - Is the switch turn on?
    - Any error on dash?
    - Anything stuck under there? (In my example - Ice)

    - May be check any fuses or see if power is coming to the switch or to those motors with a multi meter? (Sorry never tried this on mine)

I know it is something electrical/motor. They do not do well in climates with snow and ice as they freeze up and mess them up. I would just like to have them down all the time so I don't have to worry about them.
