    Hello,

What are people using for a base system for their 4Runners with factory cross bars
for roof mounted bike rack / ski rack?

Any preference between Thule or Yakima?

    Thanks.

    Tom

I found that the factory crossbars were to close to the roof. My yakima accessories (bolts the clamp to the crossbars) were hitting the roof or push against the roof when i put kayaks on it. I switched back to my yakima crossbars as they get up a inch or two.
