Ok, so I want to raise my 2019 SR5 a few inches. Thought I could do it by installing larger tires, but after research, I see I am limited to my 17” factory rims and wheel well clearance.

so..on to a modest lift perhaps. Not looking to be a “highboy” by any means, 2-3” max. some research shows sims and leveling kits which I am interested in since I’m only really looking to put larger (taller) tires maybe 285/75’s. Can I get the pro/cons of each?

Should also mention that I would like to keep the ride about the same as it is now (am I asking too much?).

I will probably ask (in a later post) about a suspension lift involving springs/struts, again modest height, but don’t want to get ahead of myself.

well, thanks for reading and any guidance would really be appreciated.

Wow...this really helped. So may questions answered ( I think). Ready for some reading and then putting it into action.
