So I’m looking for Nerf bars with steps for my 5th Gen 4Runner. There are a vast amount of choices - can anyone recommend a popular brand for Toyota owners?

I installed the NFab RS Steps. A little different look than the OEM style. I love the look, price point, and very easy to install. https://n-fab.com/n-fab-nerf-step-rs-system/2021/toyota/4runner

Wish I would have coated in fluid film or something of the sort. I didn't find out about that stuff until they'd been on for at least 6 months. Now a year in and getting surface rust at the welds. Anyone have recommendations on best way to treat and correct at this point?

I sprayed undercoat on the bolts mounting them. I do have fluid film so I will add that too just in case. Thanks for the heads up.

Where are you located? I'll have some predator steps to sell in MN before too long.

I did these exact ones on mine as well. I read a lot of reviews of rusting so I put a couple layers of DIY bedliner on them before I installed them. They haven't been on more than a month so I can speak for how well they hold up yet. It was under $400 for the steps to my door and the 2 cans of bedliner.

I'm not a fan of nerf bars as they provide no protection and lack in functionality.

I prefer regular steps that extend a little bit for better functionality and may be give little protection against door dings. Having more surface area would help especially for kids and ladies getting in and out.

I got these Aries steps before I got sliders. I found it cheap.
