Trying to figure out fitment and stance

I know there is a ton of information on wheels, backspacing, offset, etc. all over the forums and internet in general. I guess I'm just looking to get any other opinions on this.

Just bought a 2011 SR5 for my son, and we're trying to outfit it with new wheels. It has a lift that appears to be 2" in the front, not sure about the back, but it is level. Current wheel/tire setup is TIS Offroad 544BM 22x12 with Nitto Trail Grapplers 33x12.5R22. Previous owner did a lot of trimming but it needs a BMC to be completely clear. However, I do not want to keep this setup due to costs when it comes time to replace the tires. Previous owner also gave us the stock 17" wheels that have Falken Wildpeak A/T3W P285/70R17 on them.

My plan was to find a 17" wheel that my son likes, put the Falkens on them, and sell everything else. As with any of my plans, it hasn't quite worked out. The wheel he really likes (Fuel Triton) isn't made in 17" with the proper bolt pattern anymore.

However, I found a set of 18" Fuel Triton with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 LT275/70R18 tires that came off a 2017 4Runner on facebook marketplace for a decent price. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on those and sell both sets of wheels and tires that we already have to recoup the cost. But as with literally every wheel/tire thread, I'm not 100% sure it will fit or how it will look.

The current TIS wheels have a -44 offset and he really likes the wide stance (see here). The Fuel Tritons have either a +1 or -12 offset (seller isn't sure). So, they wouldn't poke as far out as the current setup, but would be out further than stock (which I've read is +12). I've put all the data into willtheyfit.com but I guess I'm still not sure how much they will poke out as I can't really visualize it with that tool.

I'm also trying to stay away from doing a BMC, but might have to do that as well. According to the manufacturer's specs, the tires on the Fuel wheels are slightly larger than the current setup. Only about 1/4", but it's still something.

If I can get the them for a good price, I'll probably just get the Fuel wheels and see how he likes them. Maybe add a set of Spidertrax if he really wants them wider.

So, after all that...anyone got any opinions or info?

Oh, and new member, first post. I registered on the other 4Runner forum but they have a comment requirement before you're able to post. I'm fairly active in the forums I visit for my Avalanche and my wife's Tahoe.
