    Hello

I know a few have already done this install so I won’t go into too much detail. I installed the 9inch screen paired with the Scosche dashmount. Colour match with silver was good. I know some prefer the Metra kit but everything was out of stock and apparently this kit allows the unit to sit slightly more in. You can put custom made mounts from the deck to secure against pre-existing factory screw holes.

The size is a perfect fit between the vents and HVAC control unit. Note the unit was installed on the lower part of the dashmount and pocket on top. You can’t see or use the pocket anyways.

I installed side blind spot cameras as well to work with the signal lights. Overall pretty good and gives you a new technology feel lol! Please pics below. In addition, you can see pics of the oem rear camera (day vs night).

    Additional Parts used:
    -idatalink ads-me maestro RR
    -maestro TO2
    -rydeen side cameras
    -Nav-tv universal video switcher
    -Micro HDMI to HDMI cable
    -Metra LX11 antenna adapter
    -Axxess AX-USB-35EXT 6 Ft

This looks really clean. I am looking at replacing the head unit in my 2018 rig and would like to add a front camera which I think would be a big benefit when offroading, particularly with switchbacks. Quick question with this head unit, can you add apps like Gaia to the screen? I would imagine you can but would like to confirm.

Thanks for sharing, I really like what I have seen from this Pioneer system.

I haven’t added any apps to this headunit to be honest. I would recommend reaching out to pioneer or you might get lucky with a YouTube video shows this.

overall headunit is great and would not go back to the oem small screen size lol!

    thanks
