What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

mine is a 2021 and my sensors don't trigger until 25psi. I bet this is something you can have changed.

 

That would be an optimal setting and would alleviate it going off for temperature swings.. Mine must be set at a 2psi threshold, I'm gonna have to look into how to set the parameters.

 

Yes, the Del Sur Ridge is a good beginner trail. Some of the parallel offshoots are intermediate but if you stay on the main road it is just a fire road with big ruts and rock debris from rain damage. After a good rain there will be some good size mud holes. If you are looking for a good beginner trail, Sierra Pelona, is also a nice fire road drive. All the other trails at Rohwer Flats (Lookout and Rohwer Trail) are advanced and see many crashes.

You probably can't feel the seat warmers anymore though huh? Are these universal or made for the 4Rs?

 

Thinking about picking up the same RTT. Do you lose all your rack space with the XL? I was hoping to keep at least enough up towards the front to mount some Maxtrax (horizontally).

I have cloth seats, so no warmers. These are universal. The bottom part doesn't fit as cleanly around the edges as I'd like but they do the job and look good. $120 for the front pair. They're waterproof and should do a fine job of keeping the cloth looking new when it's time to sell/trade. For the price I was willing to risk it. Main goal was just protection so if they looked better than the beach towel thrown over the seats, I won.

 

Ha...they're not quite that bad. At the time of the pic I didn't have them full attached, just set up there. Now they're wrapped around and tucked in.

Drove the 4Runner about 625 miles from NY to my son's house in NC. I'm looking to very possibly move here soon. One of the reasons for the move is to get away from the cold, snowy NY winters. Well if this is any indication, not so much lol!
