I will! I bought a brand new Wrangler and threw in the extra $1700 “7/70 bumper to bumper warranty.” I owned it for exactly 36 months, during which time it spent 7 months back at the dealerships being worked on to the tune of right at $3700 in repair costs because not one single thing that went out was covered by the bumper to bumper warranty (fine print). I was active duty Army at the time and was moving around a lot. Even though the nationwide Jeep and Chrysler ads were pimping the 7/70 warranty, it was a dealership deal and other dealerships would not honor it even with me being military. It eventually turned into a Lemon Law fight. I gave up the fight when the hydraulic part of the clutch went out, and since it is inside the bell housing and the whole drivetrain had to be dropped to fix it the repair was going to be $2000. I limped it to the nearest Chevy dealership with no clutch and traded that piece of **** in. I wrote letters to everybody on Jeep and Chrysler staff and told them the story and never got a single response. The entire experience was a total ripoff. Thus, I refuse to sit in a Chrysler or Jeep product. Total garbage imho and people can get mad at me for saying it, but I am an old fart set in my ways and nothing will ever change my mind about ‘em! Hehe

My last "new" Jeep was an 07 Unlimited Rubicon. One of the biggest POS I have ever owned. In retrospect, a company manager who approved putting that engine in the Wrangler is indicative of a company who puts morons as managers.

I've owned Jeeps (TJ/YJs Wranglers only) before and since then and none of them have been "quality," but none have been as bad at that 07 JK. It was just junk. My only other Chrysler product I've owned was a 93 (IIRC) Chrysler LeBaron convertible we got in 1994 or so. It made the JK look like a Lexus. I currently have a 98 TJ and it's been a money pit, but I expected that going in. It will be for sale in the coming weeks and my son will be driving a Toyota, much to his chagrin. I've had enough of Jeeps, even inexpensive ones.

I'm with you on the Chrysler/FCA sentiment. IMO, they have spent a lot of time and money earning this reputation.

I had a Jeep Wrangler 97', first year the round headlights came back. I got a 187,000 miles out of it. Then a 12' Grand Cherokee and it never gave me any issues. I would probably not buy a new one though. Jeep has some issues at the HQ level that needs to be fixed, but not holding my breath.
