Figured I would as here as I am new to 4 runners as I just purchased my first...2 questions. I see there is what looks to be a key cylinder to lock the glove box, is this key something that should have came with the vehicle or something you have to ask the dealer for. Secondly I notice that the first time in a while I open the glove box it’s like you have to give it a little pluck to open and after that every time I hit the button it opens normally. Let it sit and again I push the button to open and it doesn’t open unless I give it a little flick. Just weird. Thanks!

The key is inside the keyless remote. Not sure what’s up with opening the glove box

Well thank you for question #1, I would have never even thought of that. 1st vehicle with a push to start to get used to. So much technology to get used to o always drove 2000-2001’s for 14 years.
