Trying to Identify and find this Part

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and new owner of 1994 Hilux Surf that I am doing some customization on. In my process though I have discovered I need to find a piece but I cannot even figure out what it is called. I have circled the plastic piece I need from another member's photo below in red. If anyone knows what this piece is called (or part number) or has one for sale please let me know.

I suggest going to Partsouq.com and entering the VIN. You can search the part diagrams along with part numbers. Most of the pieces are also available for purchase. Hope this helps

Appreciate the suggestion, But the piece I am looking for was no part of the original Hilux Surf. From what I have seen so far It appears to be on 1991 4 runner sr5 s with the factory spare tire carrier. I have looked through Partsouq.com for it without a VIN just based on model but was unable to find it there.

 

Your best bet is to go to junk yards if you are unable to find part number.

 

Yeah, that's my next step if I cant find it this way. I'm just hoping to avoid that as no junk yard within about 2 hours of me has a 90 or 91 4runner in stock for me to even get my hopes up for.

 

I did a search on PartSouq with my '91's VIN. It has that trim piece you're searching for.
Results show nothing specifically calling out that piece, but I think it might be called the "GARNISH SUB-ASSY, BACK DOOR, OUTSIDE" .
3 different options for that too, maybe. All under the #76801. See my pics below. Junk yard is your best bet. Good luck.
