    Hey All,

I just recently got my 2021 4Runner in August. I’ve done some mods but really wanting to go for a hatch ladder next.

Im loving Westcotts build as you can mount not only on the side of the ladder but on the steps as well. I don’t mind the drill in under the hatch as it calls for better stability and good for holding rotopax and supplies on super bumpy trails.

Does anyone have any pros and cons?

Also, please show those bad boys off!! Let’s see them on your Rigs. :p

For what its worth, I saw a couple installs at their facility. Rock solid. I plan to get one in the near future.

That’s awesome! I feel like the shipping up to Canada might suck but hopefully would be worth it. Definitely looking for something a little more tactical than gobi and a little more secure than C4.

Looks like it attaches exactly the same as the C4. Bottom has 3 bolts not two.

Only difference is Westcott steps are wider and they have a bottle opener

Not sure about having to drill either but that’s a personal preference

love their sliders but at $1700 it’s a little ridiculous. Too many shops are just plain charging too much

You do at the top but I’ve got the C4 and I’m over 200 pounds and it doesn’t budge.

Drilling isn’t a huge deal to me if it were an easily replaced item, the rear hatch is not. Just not for me. But they still make solid stuff
