installing the expedition one rear bumper

I have an expedition one rear bumper on order. How hard is it to install one of these things? I watched the video and it seems that I will need to cut the rear bumper to install this thing.

Shop was quoting me 1800 bucks to install it and I would rather save that money if I could.

 

Dremel Tool or Razor Knife will cut the plastic bumper. Follow that with some door trim. Invest in a floor jack and some jack stands. A block or wood or old towel to support the bumper while you bolt it on.

 

The physical bumper is the easy part

 

So, what’s the hard part?
Edit: not being a smartass, genuinely curious

 

Wiring. Plate lights and back up camera on swing arms, additional reverse lights, etc etc.

The bumper is just a few bolts.
