JBA UCA questions

    I installed these a few months back and am looking to see if others have had similar experiences.
    1. No matter how much grease I pump in, I can't get grease to come out of the inboard bushings. JBA said keep pumping, but it only comes out of the outboard bushings. Loosen the A-arm bolt a bit to increase bushing clearance?
    2. Will adding more caster (currently at 3.9 and 4.0) reduce rubbing on the mud guard, or will it tilt the wheel back more to achieve greater caster? Granted, my alignment has been set by Firestone, and the truck has been there 6 times in less than 2 years. Each trip requires a second trip to fix things the didn't get right. Shouldn't they be able to get more than 4 degrees easily?

    I would definitely try loosening the the a-arm bolt and then pumping more grease into it.

    I've heard of people going up to 5 degrees of caster with the high caster version. Yes, it should get you further away from the mudflap.

    Some mechanics at more corporate alignment shops only know how to work on stock components and seem to have a tough time adapting to aftermarket parts. Keep trying with them. You need to specify the caster spec you're looking for them to get. Hopefully you have a lifetime alignment. If they can't get it right, an offroad shop that see's this stuff all the time should know how to sort it out.

    Finding a good alignment shop capable of handling offroad suspension components and specifications is 100% the hardest part of owning aftermarket UCA's
