So started to install the 6” DD behind the upper grill lights, had to delete the Raptor lights to do this. Started pulling stuff off and decided to remove the Faux Pro Grille and re-install the OEM Toyota Emblem grill and while I was doing that I still had some Plasti Dip cans, so I dipped the front Silver upper balance. Needless to say I didn’t install the lights because I ran out of time LOL

 

Adding some daytime pictures of the sportsman x bar. I picked up the kids from school with the crash sensor and cruise sensors set to high and did not have any alerts or warnings. I need to make a minor adjustment since it is slightly off kilter I noticed.

 

Got rid of the damn thing Sunday.

Nothing wrong with the 4R but tired of the Icon's sounding like they are dying. Did not want to put the time and effort to change it with something else.

Plus its the wifes dd now and she finally realizes its not her thing to drive it everyday.

Got her a RX350L now so guess happy wife happy life.

Been away for a while, but my 4runner got new shoes. Upgraded from Nitto G2s to Toyo AT3s and TRD wheels.

 

Just received these in the mail from dealer. Gloss black lugs and wheel locks for the wife’s nightshade wheels

 

Can confirm. I was able to move my Meso customs push to start button from my Tacoma over to my 4Runner.

 

Too bad they dont sell the "TRD" buttons any more.

 

Wireless Carplay adaptor for the OEM Carplay system.

 

So finally got the Diode Dynamics Upper Grill lights installed with the OEM Cali Raised switch. Took to roughly 5 hours as I took my time and watched some YouTube instructions on how to install. I like the way they look. Whatcha think?

 

i've been looking for the TRD one specifically as well. came across these on facebook marketplace of all places. my guess is they are not legally able to sell them on their website, so this is a bit of an underground type of deal? price and shipping cost seems to be what meso customs charges.

i bit the bullet and bought it. should arrive by christmas eve, so i will update when they arrive.

 

Whoa!!! I really like that! It’s a really good use of space. How is the light output? Any pictures with those lights off? What is the beam pattern?

Wow, that is not a ringing endorsement for Icons. It sucks that they turned you off the 4runner that much, but I get not wanting to go through the hassle of figuring out new suspension.

Sounds like a tale of warning to others.

Now that I think about it, my 21 has a horizontal bar in that area instead of the mesh looking grill. Those bars would probably block the light right down the middle.
