Don't know anything about shocks to keep it real

So took my.01.sr5 2wd to the shop he's saying I need new shocks immediately

Can't really afford anything brand new at the moment so looking around on Craigslist& offerup and someone is selling a set of bilstiens off a 2015 4runner

wondering if anyone knows if that would fit on mine? Asked the guy who's selling them and he doesn't know
Here's the pic of what they look like

They won't work without some fabrication, i.e. cutting and welding.

And what's the difference why would the first one be so much cheaper and the full set versus the second one is just the front and way more expensive?

The $150 set looks like an OEM takeoff, literally just the stock stuff on the truck.

The $400 set was purchased aftermarket and has a spacer on the top, it also has adjustable ride height options.

I imagine that's the reason for the price difference. Neither set will work for you however.

Try this link, if you need shocks now and price is a concern, you can get basic replacement shocks fairly cheap

The 1st set is the same as the second set. Both are bilstein 5100 and are adjustable. Prob the reason is because they're from diff sellers? Also the 2nd set is 7months old, doubt it's even still available.

If funds are tight, need something to get you through, don't plan to off road, don't want a lift, look into some off brand from Amazon. Something that'll get your by. This kit it complete except the rear springs (which you don't need) you can reuse your OEM rear springs. I don't know the quality so buy at your own risk. I rather go this route vs buying 2nd hand that looks to be offroad and used to hell.
