I’m sure they’ll be back under another made-up name. CCP doesn’t even bother making up on that sounds cool, they just run their hand over an English keyboard and see what comes out. HGYFGFC power charger!

All that shit comes out of one industrial park in Wuhan anyway.

Interesting article but not surprising. I find that Amazon reviews have always been full of shills (“it did was was advertised”) and dumbass reviews like “it was delivered really fast!”.
Or online review articles that review the “best” of anything.

I generally pay more attention to the complaints and bad reviews on Amazon.
And the independent testers like the OP linked.

Got mine yesterday, nice little kit that will mostly be used for charging cellphones and tablets. Comes with everything in one case (unless you need something other then a type 3 connector).

Get a SuperCapacitor jumper.... better than a jump box ...why?, well we all know, that we tend to forget to have those things charged at the optimal time.

I go on hike and bike trips in areas away from vehicle services and have been looking for a compact unit for potential vehicle battery or low air tire problems. This lokithor ja301 solves that in one compact unit. Separate units take up more space so this is much better to pack. I have tested it but not had a real emergency use yet. It aired up a tire on my 4Runner from 24 lbs to 36 lbs in about 12 minutes with no problem. Air compressor shut off at the my preset pressure of 36 lbs. The air port was warm to touch but not hot. I charged my iphone from 40% to 100% in about one hour. Phone was not hot afterward. I tested the volt meter function on vehicle battery and it worked fine. The jumper cables plug into the unit only one way so you cant attach it to the unit wrong. The unit operation is fairly intuitive but there is an instruction manual. It auto shuts off after about a minute so you dont have remember to shut it off. Outside build material seems of very good quality. The handle is made of a softer material so that it doesnt slip in your hand very easily. And the bottom has four feet covered with soft rubber so it doesnt slid easily. The input and output ports are covered with a soft rubber cover. A small bag holds the jumper cables, air hose, air hose attachments and instruction manual. A larger bag holds the unit and is large enough to also hold the smaller bad and its contents. I like the bag to hold everything and not some bulky hard case that would be harder to pack in the back of vehicle. I really like the minimalist and quality design of this unit.

I got some off brand jump pack on a prime deal something like 5 years ago. I've charged it up a grand total of twice, but I ran my battery down testing out my ghetto on board air setup yesterday and needed it to get the runner started. It showed 5% but I tried anyway and it fired right up. Gonna have to start keeping it charged I guess :frustrated:

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I have one and it's great. I've only had to use it twice but it started the car like I had installed a brand new battery. It has lasted at full charge for a year so far. I'm totally satisfied.

Damn dude that is slow. 48 minutes to air up 4 tires!!!

You really should invest in a Viair 300P. I go from 20psi to 40psi in a matter of a couple minutes.

Put a repeating calendar event in your phone to check the charge every 3 months......every time I plug it in, it's still at 100%. Just love how I know it's always ready to go.

Got it and have used a it few times this past year. I won’t leave home without now, it goes everywhere I go and doesn’t matter what vehicle I am rolling with that day. It’s awesome.

The days of having to park at the top of a hill in case my truck battery was dead are long gone! And good riddance. Now I have a powerpack, plus I've even used my chainsaw battery to start my truck.

But all the excercise one gets for "push starting". Don't even think it's possible these days with all the nannies in new vics.

Younger friends of ours recently got 5 speed manual Geo Tracker (late 90's). Said she couldn't get it started.
I hill started it for her. Kind of fun!

Going back to these jump starter boxes. Why do I need one with a 2019 4Runner?

For when your 4runner is 4 years old and you leave your Rigid D2 series lights on for an hour, while parked in 10 degree weather above Tahoe. Plus it is easy to whip out to help others. Just another tool in your tool bag, and so small, that fitting it in isn't a problem.

Wear a mask. Stay in school. Use protection. Don't do opioids.

Says the guy in, where, Maryland? Self reliance isn't necessary when the nearest gas station is a mile away.

I actually had my battery on my ‘19 Runner die on me earlier this year! In AZ batteries have a harder time I guess- I got jumped with one of these by a friendly stranger!

They take up almost the same amount of space, so I’d go bigger over smaller.
