    2000 limited.

    The little door that goes over the garage door opener compartment above the mirror.

    I can’t seem to find it on any interior parts diagrams that I have found. Interior color is oak.

    Most interior parts like this are now obsolete through Toyota. You'll probably have to go to a junk yard.

    I use partsouq.com and put in my vin. Then I search the diagrams. Never have gotten a bad part number yet.

    I found mine in: Electrical -> Interior\Lamp

    Part number: 8126035030E0 for a 2002 4Runner w/OAK and no sunroof.

    The diagram is awful and looks nothing like the actual part. When I google the part number, images returned show it as my overhead console.

    Hey thanks, I just need the door for the compartment that contains the garage door opener where you place the little nibs to activate the button on the opener.

    I’m picking up the vehicle in a day to 2 and will probably need to go the junk yard route but I’ll get a picture and post it.

    it’s the door for item #5 in this pic.

    Yeah, it looks like TOYOTA never sold just the door. But the whole light assembly.

    Well thanks for your help anyway, I’ll be trying junk yards or breakers. Joined the 3rd gen parts group on FB.

    It’s so darn clean for 175K miles that missing door is going to drive me nuts.

    I think this may be your part number. It looks like it's for a 2000 Limited. And it looks like it's still available from the dealer. Again, it's the whole assembly but it's $175 from discount online TOYOTA dealers.

    So what often happens to these is the small hinge pin comes out holding the door in. I got a slightly larger roll pin and tapped it in mine so the door won't come out anymore.

    I'd still hunt junk yards. They will think you're an idiot and will charge you the minimum which can be $20 or $40 in this area.

    Most trim pieces or interior pieces aren't in stock anymore. If they are their obscenely priced. I recently lucked out and managed to get a new scuff guard for my 4runner, it was the last one in Toyota's stock supposedly.

    I wish Toyota would do a mass drop system where if enough people put their names on a waiting list Toyota will make a batch of that part again.

    Never worth it. Everyone signs up and then never buys it if it is made. Resto companies have that problem all the time.
