Suggestions for testing of new tires?

I currently run a set of Cooper Evolution MTs on a 2019 SR5. I did a crude video reviewing them in the snow last year.

They did acceptably well in the snow. I did a follow up video of them in the dirt about a month ago after my video skills got better. They are great tires in the dirt, mud, rocks, and sand, and deep snow. But on packed snow they are a bit squirrely.

So, went looking to buy a set of snow tires and extra rims and came across reviews for the Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrain AT that state they were amazing in the snow.

    So, ordered a set.

Now, I'm wanting to do a new video comparing the two tires performance in the snow.

What sort of elements should be shown in the video? Stopping distance on packed snow/ice? How far it will go up a hill in 2wd?

    Any other ideas?

Stopping distance, stopping distance/performance while steering, some sort of acceleration test, some sort of cornering test, where maybe you take a corner at increasing speeds to show the cornering limits of each tire, and perhaps some sort of hill climb.

TFL Car has done a few good snow tire tests, I'd take a look at one of their videos for an example.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Well, I did some good...GOOD...tests of our "new" Toyo AT3s last night. Had to take my lovely, loving, wife to the hospital, Pancreas infection affecting the liver and backing up into the stomach. NASTY.

Of course, the first real snow storm of the season hit. Yesterday, started just before things got bad for my wife. I sent her in by ambulance, since I wasn't going to do tests with her aboard. I followed in our 99 4Runner. It has ABS, and that's about all for traction control, that I'm aware of. SR5 model.
Anywho, there was a good 6" on the ground, but the residual warmth in the roads kept the thickness down on the pavement. Unfortunately, we live in a subdivision with gravel/dirt roads. So, it's snowing pretty good, I'm deathly worried about my wonderful wife, I've never driven this 4Runner in anything other than good, warm, weather. Maybe a little rain. OOooohhh! I grew up driving in moderate rain in the SF Bay Area, so rain doesn't bother me much.
Thankfully, very little traffic. Our driveway is sloped like a ski jump, in reverse. Off the main road, 15MPH speed limit, BTW, down a short distance, level out to park on.
I hopped in, got everything set up like I thought it should be, 4Hi, reverse. Will it go? It went like there was no snow. I was very gentle on the clutch, and was backing up onto the main road before I knew it. I cranked the front around to get aimed right, and again, GENTLY took off, out and away!
Took the road to "the hill", a steep part, several hundred feet down into a T intersection, no stop signs anywhere. I stopped, put it in first, 2Hi, and down I went. SLOWLY, 5MPH, easily, the engine doing all the braking until the very bottom, where I touched, no more, the brake pedal. as I turned onto the road it feeds, both dirt/gravel, mind, I went back to 4Hi, and off I went. No trouble at all with the corners, curves, etc. Yes, I braked BEFORE turning the wheel at all.
Got out to the main paved road, and took off. Packed snow. I may as well not have worried at all. Again, it was AS IF there was no snow. Drove all the way into town, about 18 miles, 4Hi where I touched snow with the tires, 2Hi otherwise.
All the way, it wasn't a bit of trouble. I slowed to the stoplight where I had to turn to go UP a HILL. Easy to stop from about 45 MPH in 2HI, switched to 4Hi before stopping, great traction, again, 1-2" of packed snow/ice. Paved road, about 2" packed snow. Climbed like it was clear and dry. Even had a stoplight almost to the top, in a leveled out spot. No sweat. Stopped, then went, just had to be gentle on the clutch. Never once broke traction, though.

Anywho, I had to run home to get her some of her "stuff", for her stay up in Portland. Same, just the other way. No trouble at all. Granted, I never went above 35, maybe 40, but it was fully controllable and comfortable to drive.

I made 3 trips back and forth last night. Last at 0300. Our 99 4Runner ran like a top, the Toyo AT3s, 2000 miles on them, held to whatever surface they were given like a lover.
I sweated bullets, given the visibility, my total experience in these conditions, concern for my wonderful wife, etc, etc. Smoked like a chimney the whole way. I may as well have been driving on a clear dry, road, on a warm, sunny afternoon. I didn't go as fast as usual, other than that, no problem.

Just an anecdotal, "my experience" report on the 99 4Runner, with Toyo tires on it.
    Good luck, all!
    Pat☺

YES! My dad did this with me when I first started driving. We used the family FWD station wagon, haha. BIG difference from my own car I started driving, a 4wd shortbed squarebody pickup. In 2wd I was the drift KING in that bad boy. Damn I miss that truck :/
