I wonder how much money it would cost to unfuck this thing. At 18k it may be a decent buy, but willing to bet the reserve is set at about $35k.

the value of this rig was completely thrown down the tubes. That thing isn't worth more than the OEM parts that are left and the bumpers I suppose. I wonder how much weight was added just in the fasteners holding up whatever the hell that body is made of. Those gross side marker lights look like something off of a car parts store shelf.

 

Personally I think the worst sin is what appears to be ford F-250 door handles poorly integrated in the body work

 

I thought those door handles looked familiar. This whole vehicle is just wrong in so many ways. Im really curious how much weight was added with the madmax body kit

What a shame. It is a "free" country though, so wasting your money is your choice. Strippers and blow might be a better ROI....

Overlooking such a simple flaw really points to a git’er done job under a “we need it done yesterday” timeline. Also, probably no budget left for the builder if it was done for a trade show.

Even if somebody loved the look, buying this is like buying a metric ton of headaches. I can imagine metal panels that were screwed together and bondo for the seams. If it sits in one rainstorm, all the hollows between the new sheet metal and the factory door skins will probably get full of water. I cant even imagine the sound it would make going down the road. In reality, this vehicle is totaled. It’s even hard to make the case for a parts car.

The seats on the other hand do look to be quality work. But I doubt purple-suit wearing pimps would be willing to pay for that level of work.

I am speachless.... Loss for words as for how to describe this thing the only thing that comes to mind is "That is (insert cuss word here) Fuggly".

 

Bidding closed, bid to $35k and didn't meet reserve. The seller is an absolute tool for making the reserve that high for that thing

You got me, even if it was gotten for a steal, I can't imagine the cost to undo what had been done to it.

Imagine that SR5 rolling off the assembly line, the employees thinking, "I wonder who will own this and what they'll do, maybe take their family on an outdoor adventure, maybe it'll just get their kids to school, maybe it'll be a rock crawler..."

Nope, it'll be bondo and fake alligator skin and a non-functioning rear hatch.
