5th Gen 4R currently on 1 year old (6,000 miles) 5100’s set at 2.5” with stock springs up front. Rear is lifted via a 1.5” DayStar spacer. Looking to get new springs and lower the perch to the bottom setting. Only extra weight on the truck is my Cali-Raised sliders.

My goal is to achieve a similar stance via springs. My research has lead me to the combos listed in my thread title. However, I feel like I have seen inconsistencies in the ride heights achieved with the Dobinsons, particularly the rear 505 springs. They claim 1.5” of lift but some pix I’ve seen show that it is closer to a 2” boost…which is too much rake for my taste. I have seen they offer another option for 1”-1.25” of lift with their 599 spring. This is tempting to me because I rarely have the back loaded up so I’m not too concerned with reverse rake. Just really trying to avoid the stink-bug look.

Anyone have experience here with either of these two brands and vehicle set ups similar to mine?

Hi there! 2014 with 133k miles. Nice to meet you. I went with the Wheelers t1/t13 (and bilstein 5100) and it's a pretty level look. When I load up the rear it sags a bit. I think the lift gave me a net result of 2 1/4 inches in the front and 1 in the rear after everything settled in. I'm considering adding a once inch spacer in the rear to lift it back up as I load up the rig all too often. Offroad the suspension works and feels great. Not a true baja machine, but I'm more of a 4lo kind of guy.

Here's a few pics. The parking stucture pic shows my rig with 33's and suspension next to a stock sr5. The rav 4 pic shows my rig sag a bit inb the rear when it's loaded up full of our camping gear. The pic with telescope shows my rig is mostly level as all of the gear has been unloaded from the car. I hope that helps some.

Thanks Anthony, I ended up going with Dobinsons 302 and 599's. Still waiting for them to arrive.
