2000 SR5 5 Speed

I have the manual select transfer case in my truck and the front hubs are not unlocking in 2wd. I can tell because the front driveshaft does not freely spin in 2wd with the car off and with it jacked up, spinning the tire also spins the shaft. How could this be fixed?

Are you saying you cant turn your driveshaft by hand in 2wd?

Even with my 4runner off if I pull the lever the drive shaft will lock and not turn freely. The VF2A is rarely an issue, it normally the ADD (I have this fail at the worst moments)
