I have a 2022 TRD off-road without kdss. I want to lift it and it still have a very slight rake. Question… if I went with the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks, do I need anything else? ie. Blocks, springs, etc.?
    thx Scott

You can adjust the fronts on the 5100’s to give you rake, but why?

I just definitely don’t want it squatted. Level or a slight rake would be fine. Do I need anything other than the 5100 shocks to do the lift? My local shop said they generally just use spacers to accomplish this. Thoughts?

I would find a shop that does suspension lifts.

How much do you want to lift it?

You can use 5100's to get 3 different lift heights up front but they do not lift the rear.

The first setting is 0.85" up front. With the rear remaining stock height, this will give you the stance of a Pro.

You can also adjust the 5100's up another notch and get 1.75" of lift. This levels the truck. You will have no rake whatsoever unless you add a lift coil or a spacer to the rear.

Last setting with 5100's would be 2.75" of lift up front. Again, you would need a lift spacer or lift coils to add height to the rear.

I did this and this https://jbaoffroad.com/jba-hd-high-...plus-4runner-03-plus-fj-cruisers-07-plus.html

No rake on mine, sits pretty level. I installed everything myself but I'm not sure I would do it again if there was a non-greedy shop in my area I trusted.
