Tail lamp options

In the process of removing/covering the last chrome off my truck. Last 2 would be the TRD sport emblem which technically isnt chrome and overlays isn’t available yet. Last one would be the tail light assembly. The ones Ive seen so far are Anzo, Morimoto and Alphrex, Eagle Eye and USR. I honestly like the factory style and functions with the Diode Dynamics turn as reverse and led bulb giving a lot of bright output over any of the aftermarket options which looks over done and the reverse output looks to be worse than factory. The main thing I dont like is the huge chrome piece on the factory and wished that there was a smoked factory option. USR is the only close option but is very pricey, after shipping and tax would be close to $500. Asked a few shops about getting them tinted but they all said since the lens has multiple angles and isnt flat, it would be difficult. The other option I seen is the VHT nightshade. Does anyone have experience with this tint in a rattle can long term?
