Just picked up a 1999 2WD with the 2.7L engine (180K) miles in great shape. Maintenance/Repair documentation all the way back to 2010. Got her all cleaned up & waxed, and now waiting for my TAG/Title Appt with DMV on Wednesday so I can start driving it.

Question that I have is this,......one of the items replaced was the radiator THANK GOD. That was actually one of the items when looking for a 3rd gen that I knew Id be replacing immediately. Anyways, the radiator is filled with "green" coolant and it's clean. I dont know much about coolant, but I thought that these 3rd gens take the Asian pink stuff? Should I do a flush and remove this green, or just leave it be? My understanding is as long as two different types are not mixed then it's ok?

Some of the modern coolant is green and it is not like the old stuff and is perfectly good for Asian motors. You'd have to ask the prior owner what it has.

    Welcome

If it were me, I'd completely drain it, run distilled water, then put the pink stuff back in.

At that mileage, I'd check everything else too and replace anything that's either due for replacement, or simply questionable.
