Just a way to keep track of my progress with the truck! Just passed 1k miles this weekend and loving it so far. Quite the upgrade from a 2009 Access Cab Taco.

As of this first post:

• TRD Pro 17" Wheels in Matte Black

Future wants/plans:

• A/T Tires
• Front Suspension/Leveling/Lift (very undecided, want to stick with Toyota parts for now, so maybe a TRD Pro set-up)
• Yakima Venture Style roof basket/Bike Rack
• Black Exhaust Tip/ TRD Exhaust
• LED/Xenon DRL
• Front tint to match rear
• TRD Intake (for the extra fun sounds and imaginary HP gains)

Was dragging my feet on any PPF so naturally I got a gnarly down-to-the-metal rock chip on the hood when driving back to SD from PHX. Ordered a tube of the Nautical Blue paint code from a dealer on eBay for $9 and having the PPF installer fix it up before applying SunTEK to the whole hood today. Also doing 3M Crystalline 40% on the front windows and UV film on the windshield.



Swapped out the factory silver rails with the all black w/ the factory cross bars (shoutout @SpartanTRD20 for the quick and easy transaction!)

 

First time seeing Lunar Rock in person and love it. This and Cavalry Blue are my favorite Pro colors by far. Also pretty convincing to go to 285's, this rig had the westcott pro lift from the looks of it

What is your opinion of the SunTek PFF? Is it similar in price to Xpel?
