Overland Trip from GA to MD

I'm planning for a overland trip from GA to MD in a month or so. Instead of taking interstate highway, I like to be on country/FS roads with beautiful sceneries as much possible.

Any recommendations of trails near I-81 would be appreciated!

You might want to check out Georgia Traverse at https://www.georgiaoverland.com/map.html. Routes are across north GA but, it should get you started.

It seems like Cleveland, GA could be a good starting point. Let me draw up my route from their and connect to the MABDR start point of VA. Time to dive into GAIA...
