    I'm 67 but have a very bad back. I do however manage a very similar routine as you describe.

    Thanks !! I let the brushless car wash do the outside and under-carriage - what I call most of the "grunt" work LOL. That way I save the energy to do the finer detail work I still enjoy doing.
    I don't mind working top-side or under the hood. But what I don't do as much of any more is crawl under the vehicle. Hard to explain. You just have to reach that age and you know.

    I just re-watched The Great Outdoors a couple of months ago. It had been a while.
