This tire is listed on the Falken website with this size (LT275/70r17) but none of the major retailers seem to have it on their websites and I've had a few independent places say its not available. Can anyone confirm if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist? Recommend a place to order if it does?

FWIW I want to replace the Bridgestone Duelers that came stock with something more reliable for Winter and trails. Can't do any BMC or bumper trimming to accommodate 285's or I would. I was hoping to get into the 275s for a little extra diameter without the chopping, but seems like I may have to choose another tire....

Take a look at Coopers, they have a LT 275-70-17, that's what we run. they have good manners (not loud), a good tread wear warranty, are excellent in winter conditions. There is no BMC or bumper trimming involved or rubbing.

Just keep in mind Falken Wildpeak AT3W 275/70R70 are heavy as some of the common Load E tires.

My Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285/70R70 SL tires are lighter than those 275s.

Thanks, but they didn’t have them either. I found the on another major retail website that does riiiight after I posted my question. And thanks to those that provided other links; I am just leery of purchasing off eBay and, to a lesser extent, Amazon for whatever reason.

I was surprised to see that some E load were lighter than the C……the weights for E vs. C and 265 v. 275 v. 285 didn’t seem intuitive at all.

Good to hear! I'm surprised Simpletire let me put them in my cart without any indication that they were out of stock (not that I noticed, at least).

I was thinking it was just another sign of the supply chain issues we're having. I'm glad you found some!

I ended up getting the Cooper AT3 275/70r17 because Wildpeaks were out of stock everywhere and I was taking a road trip that was going to involve mountain passes and snow. So far they've been great and I even got compliments from the Valets at the hotel about them :D

Glad they are working for you, they are a tad bit stiff when cold-cold but are not unbearable. Winter here in Wisc. has the air press. at 35 psi. They perform great in snow/ice conditions, time will tell..... right?

I definitely noticed the stiffness immediately. Like you said, not unbearable.

Hey all. I know you are all probably going crazy looking st 275s 285s. I ended up with 275s falken wildpeaks. Was told initially that I couldn't get them then town fair tire was able to get me a set! Slight rubbing on front inner fender when backing up and wheel is turned. I have a 1.75 lift in front. I like them alot and glad I chose that size. Lost 2 to 3 mpg though at 75 mph.
Good luck with whatever you end up with. Falkens are great. I researched tires for months and wife got me 285s for Christmas but I had heard about all the mods needed and decided that 275s would be perfect for me.

Lookin good! If I had been able to find the Wildpeaks or had time to wait for them I would def have gone with these. Still get compliments with the Coopers on, and so far handling great! Just anxious to get a lift on :)
