I tried to do a donut but left my traction control on haha. However, my failed donut track does add an artistic element to the whole scene lol

 

Dude that's super cool. i usually throw a 'like' at pics on here that ... well... I like... but yours deserves more than that. "I like!"

 

Next year we should try to write something!

Thank you! A Tacomaworld member brought the drone, and now I want one! As soon as he showed me the picture, I asked him to send it to me.

I wasn't sure how the snow would affect our day, but it ended up being very cool seeing everything covered. It's amazing how the changing seasons can add a new element to something familiar.

It was pretty easy going up there. Staying the night at Barker Ranch was a different story.

 

Vibes from the Manson Family?

 

Manson Family or the wild donkeys running around. It didn't help that my daughter and her friend slept in my 4runner while I slept on a cot outside. Even with the bad vibes it was a good time.

 

This reminded me of a time when 2 of my BIL's and I were camping in the Rose Mines area of Big Bear, CA.
A few donkeys wandered through in the middle of the night and were wanting munchies, so one BIL tries to run them off and steps on a fresh
pile of donkey dung.

Went up to the hills last weekend for a Christmas tree.

 

Went on some trails UP North there with a few good men @Thatbassguy @McSpazatron @Chris In Milwaukee and others from tacoma world to test my tires / wheels and floormats out

 

Floor mat durability is absolutely key. Not many would realize its significance. It’s obvious you’re a smart man!

Shawnee national forest Thanksgiving trip.

I didn't get a chance to mount up my deep pelican in time for the trip and the cabin was smooshed because of it (dog goes with!)
And sadly the matching LED bar for my t4r arrives today. Now I just need snorkel and we are back to being matchy matchy. It's awesome driving caravan together because of how bad ass they look together.

 

Those are downright gorgeous vehicles!

 

Sarcobautus Flats (Dry Lake Bed), DVNP

 

Just got back from a trip to Mojave. My family (wife, 11yo & 8yo boys) camps in the desert for Thanksgiving every year since all our family is back on the east coast and we live in California.

This year we traversed the old Mojave road (almost all of it) and camped out on public land for a few days.

I let the kids drive the truck and we took some pretty gnarly detours up mountain sides and through sand dunes. Truck handled it flawlessly.

Don't step on snek! It a petroglyph on that boulder, lower left. Very crude style, compared to those you might see in Moab, like special ed petroglyphs.

Here's camp. I can pack up in less than 5 minutes, lol:
