    Hello,

I bought a 2010 4Runner Limited, current 107,500 Miles and the previous owner said the shock completetly Out. So I went to Toyota services and asked them the cost, they said parts only cost $4,163.56. Not add the labor cost yet. Do you know if I can just drive like the way it is? (no fixing it)
    Appreciate it for your advice.

Not fixing it would not be wise is my opinion. Handling will get worse, and you can damage other components as the shocks will no longer function for their intended purpose. You could have the XREAS system removed, and replaced with bilstein 5100’s for about 1/4 of the cost from the dealer for OEM equipment.

Mtbpsych: Thank you! No no..really, that would cost too much to go fix it. I guess I can go get a couple estimates to fix it from a private Mechanic. Any ideas whom would be good in Portland, OR's metro area?

You could try Wanderlust Overland, I’ve heard good things about them. There is also a 4 wheel parts there, not sure how reputable a big chain store is though.

    XREAS. It’s expensive.

Ah. Can you just replace it with standard suspension?
