Just notified that my '22 white ORP with KDSS, moon roof and MTM will be delivered to the dealership sometime tomorrow. Scheduled to pick it up Wednesday. Got it for MSRP. Will post with pics and details of this crazy journey of six months sometime next week.

Thanks. After six months of consistent dealer shenanigans I'm a bit paranoid. Have limited my communications to 98% text and email so have a record of interactions just in case. It's been a wild ride.

Texting a dealer feels wrong but this day in age, the only way to have a paper trail less email. Cheers to you!!

Thanks. I agree with you. It's the way it's had to be with dealers currently. Multiple lies and double dealing. Little alternative in current market. Friend had dealer sell his Pro to a higher bidder for 15K " market adjustment" even though they had an agreement and the deal was set. He had nothing on paper and no record of communication.

Congrats. I also got a signed "pricing" sheet as collateral in case my dealer decides to pull anything. It has the MSRP, my trade value (they evaluated it even though it will be a month before they take possession), taxes, fees, etc. and is signed by the dealership's manager

    Glad/Hope it all goes well!
It somehow made me feel a little bit better to know I wasn't the only one who's dealer is less than communicative.
I'm only three weeks in but I see the writing on the wall so to speak.
At first it was "placing an order" now it is " waiting on results of the mid month allocation". This after 3 weeks and my email requests for info.
    Ok, Ok enough whining.
Congrats & post us a pic..... I think the ORP are just unicorns anyway.
Back to dreamin and looking at black friday sales!

Whoa! Took my 2014 Tacoma Off Road with 90700 mi. to Carmax and they are offering 24K! I am blown away. It truley is a sellers market. I'll now be able to mod it to my heart's content.
    Yee Haaa!

one of the dealerships I am working with just informed me that they will give me 30k for my 2017 Sport with 40k miles. I just got a 34k quote online from Carmax this weekend. I paid about 34k out the door in November 2016.

Wanna say I paid 27K for my Tacoma. That's the wife's recollection as well.

I got just under $14K for my 2016 F150 with 210K miles! I had initially planned on keeping my truck and get a 4Runner too... I can't turn down that money for a truck with that many miles on it.

Update. '22 ORP not available Wednesday even though I was told it would be. Told it was in El Mirage, CA.? I took yesterday off to facilitate purchase. The plan is to now pick it up this Saturday. Perhaps it's a transport issue?
    The beat goes on.

I'll be picking up my ORP tomorrow. It's been a long strange trip.

RSG sliders ordered. Most likely pull trigger on Dobinson IMS suspension, new tires and am wanting to purchase ORP take off wheels to have them powder coated.

PS. Also had ceramic tint done and installed a bunch of OCD- ish/cosmetic add on's. DD SS3 fogs just finished.
I was going to rail about all of the BS I went through with this purchase but decided to let go and focus on tweeking it the way I want it.

Congrats! While I really dig my KDSS Venture, I first went with a KDSS ORP that sadly only made it 600 miles before being destroyed.

Pulled the trigger on the Dobinson IMS suspension. Install and tires next.
