Long story short, I have an entire Icon stage 2 package, minus rear shocks. Expecting them in another 6-never weeks :frustrated:. Provided no additional supply chain issues. Question, can I and, probably better question, should I, install the longer rear springs with stock rear shocks? My gut says I can, but I'll have a bad time and obviously will be limited on performance/ride.

I've already installed the UCA's, nice little upgrade. Considering installing the front coilovers that I'll finally have, but if I don't put the springs in, I'd set them at stock hight. New wheels and tires (285/70/17) are waiting as well. I ordered in March and now that I'm finally getting all the parts in, I'm itching to get this stuff on!

I think the rear stock shocks I’ve read can only handle 1” of lift. Any more than that I wouldn’t. Plenty of people here have installed 1” spacers in the rear with stock shocks.

Thanks! Had a feeling that would be the case.

The Readylift kit on my SR5 and many other spacer kits including some TRD Pro kits go up to 2in rear. One issue i was told is you won't get the flex as the shock is at a stretch.
