TRD Wheels Back Order

I've been told by two dealerships that the TRD matte black rims are on backorder. (One said he thought it would be 4-6 weeks, the other didn't have a guess.) Does anyone know of a source that keeps them in stock?

 

Unless you want/ willing to pay $400 for shipping if OEM is what you want, you would be best to just order from a dealer close enough to pick up in person. I know Gunmetal is available at the warehouse in Portland, Or. Black is probably sitting on a ship in the bay.

 

the parts guy at Olathe Toyota said they have, just at his dealership, a backlog of 130 orders waiting to fill, that they have 30 sets coming the first week of December, and about that many coming every week or two. Maybe I should consider the gunmetal. That's what they put on the original Venture editions isnt it?

 

That I don’t know, about original. But the GM color sure has been growing on me lately and I’m still waiting another week or so on my rig. I’m getting lunar rock and haven’t been able to find any pics with GM but you can find them of just about any other color to see if you think you’ll like it.
