Didn't watch it but why are they comparing a 4Runner to Armada?

 

They are saying they are legends !! Armada aka Patrol overseas.

 

Wouldn't an Armada vs. Sequoia and 4Runner vs. Pathfinder be the right comparisons?

Most likely they just had them as press cars, and decided to do a video with the two because that's what they had. This channel does a lot of oddball comparisons like this, they sometime call them "mashups," and they usually state that they realize the vehicles are not direct competitors. I did watch this one, honestly I would prefer the Nissan as a daily driver, the interior looks much nicer and it has way better power.

Also, considering they're only about 10 grand apart, and it could be less depending on what kind of negotiating you do( since I can't imagine those Nissan's are very popular), it's possible that some people would actually cross shop the two. Shoot, with the crazy markup on 4Runners, real world pricing may have the Nissan being cheaper.

this. most journalists seem to request vehicles when they are available to them. don't think they went out of the way to request these two for the sole purpose of comparisons. they probably just got it to do separate videos and made this one cuz why not?
