New to the forum. Just got a 2021 4runner Venture special edition and looking to start some modifications and stoked to be on here for support, recommendations, and inspiration.

 

Hi. I’m new to the forum as well and just today took delivery of my new 2021 4runner Venture. You asked about mods so I can share my experience with the 2017 limited which is going back to stock and then up for sale.

First the Pedal Commander. These are easy to find and think I got mine off Amazon.

Second I installed the URD spec-u headers along with the URD spec-u exhaust system. Must the URD exhaust system is the best at adding power but it truly meant for an off road only 4runner since it’s loud as heck.

So on the new Venture I’m moving the URD spec-u headers and going with the TRD exhaust. I’ve heard the TRD exhaust on a friend’s 4runner and it sounds amazing and is great for a daily.

As for the intake I’m moving the Afe kit I have on the limited. It’s a great system but like most Toyota anytime a performance intake I added the intake is significantly louder than stock, granted the stock intake makes zero noise.

Just some suggestions from my experience but I’ve been playing with the exhaust now for a coupe months.
