Mine came stock with ok all terrain tires, so I did a lift first. Bumper/winch next. Upgraded tires. Bunch of shit in between

Tint cause I live in SoCal

Glove box & center console organizers because they needed it.

Rims & tires cause I got a deal on SCS Ray 10’s

Ironman stage 2 cause I hated the factory rake!

I’m on the fence on sliders, I don’t wheel it hard, nothing crazy

I want a low profile front bumper cause it looks cool and it’s a nice way to add a light bar.

I’m also looking into a Dobinson drawer system for the rear cargo area cause there is no storage in my 4Runner.

    Front Spacer- Looks/stance
    Glovebox/console organizers- Organization
Canvasback Cargo Covers- To save the cargo carpet
    Tires- Looks/better traction
Rubber inserts for all of the cubbies-Keeps stuff in place
    Molle Panels/Shelf- Cargo organization
    Sprint Booster- Better throttle response
Rock Sliders- Keep the big rocks and logs away from the rocker panels
Bumper/winch- Mostly to protect the truck from critters ( I did hit a deer last week. The bumper paid for itself with that hit. No damage to 4R. Totaled the deer.) The winch, because I didn't want to take the bumper off later.
Audio- 'cause the stock audio sucks

    On the to-do list:
A Dobinson lift- More ground clearance
Skid plates- To make the oil changes easier and to keep the thieves from getting the catalytic converter. Rock protection will be a bonus, but not the primary reason for the skids.

"In what order?" Organized disorganization based on wait times and one long HOT summer. But we're getting there;)

Tint, headunit, audio, heaunit swap, skids, sliders, tires and Kings on the way. No thought to the order but I know I'm not going larger tires so I went tires before lift.

    1. Tires - Because for those who actually go off-road, they are the most important piece of equipment.

    2. Seat covers - Heard that the sides of the seat wear fast. I'm already a fatass that puts stress on the seat, so needed some protection.

    3. Brushguard - Lots of pheasants, coyotes, deer, and debris falling off of farm equipment on my daily commute. It's saved the front end a couple of times so far.

    4. Roof rack - Needed somewhere to stash my shovel and axe and provide carrying capacity for junk I didn't want inside the rig.

    5. Sliders/steps - Factory steps were obstacle anchors, but still needed something to help my short girlfriend get in and for me to stand on when using the roof rack.

6 - 23... All sorts of little things from amber driving lights to a fire extinguisher in the back. Only thing done just for looks was painting the wheels bronze. Totally worth it.

If I don’t drive like a dillhole, I get 20-22 mpg. But I live in Sacramento with the worst drivers in America so lots of offensive and defensive driving.

On both my 4R's I tinted it then dog proofed it first. So on my current 4R, Ordered my Canvasback. Then tint. Then Console safe. Then remote start. Those were the 4 things that I needed immediately. Since then I have bought black overlays for the chrome strips in the grill. Found some MESO black door handle covers. Ordered Revtek rear mud flap delete. Now I'm waiting for Black Friday sales on stuff. First thing I would like to get is a HikeIt throttle controller. I'm waiting for a sale, but since it is way cheaper than Pedal Commander I'm not concerned with a sale. All these things make driving the 4R better. Lift and tires will be in the future, but not sure how big of a lift or what size tires. I'm leaning toward just a 1" spacer in front and 275's since this is just a lease. I might buy it at the end especially if the 6th Gen is out and I don't like it for some reason. Everything except tint is removable and can be resold if I decide to trade it back in.

    Easy order:

    1) Everything that adds significant weight (e.g. bumpers, drawer, roof rack, rock sliders, other protection pieces, etc).
    2) Suspension.

Otherwise I'd be mucking around with suspension every time I change something else. Takes some planning, calculating, and delayed gratification, but in the end, I don't have enough money to spend on stuff I have to rip out soon after. Even if it's a single dollar.
