I want to install a LED light bar behind the front bumper on a 2020 ORP that I will take delivery of in a couple of weeks. The 2020 has the TSS sensor behind the lower portion of the front bumper and the plate on the lower grill would block part of the light from the light bar. There is a company that makes a TSS sensor relocation bracket that moves the sensor to behind the front grill. It appears to be pretty easy to install and relocate the sensor. Also, I can get a lower grill for a 2019 that does not have the plate on it so everything looks normal after installation. Has anyone tried anything like this and if so, how well did it work out?

I’m going with Bajadesigns 20 inch led bar. You can do this or rigid industry light bar. Same thing 20 inch. This is if you have a Pro. You say you have a off Road you will need to go with the bajadesigns S8 dual mounts. Both of the bars mount up in top of grille. The pro is completely open so the 20 inch will work. But the off-road has the Toyota emblem in the middle so you would need to go with the 2 10’s which is dual mount. I looked at Cali led bar but you loose to much light with the safety sense there. I was planning on doing bajadesigns LP 4’s one on each side of safety sense I have the N fab mount but decided not to go that route. Going to be posting that mount for sale and my raptor lights because I want the led bar there. Hope this helps.

Has anyone figured out a way around the TSS sensor in the front lower grill? It looks like the actual sensor is up top, but the bottom part just seems like a filler plate of sorts. Are we just stuck putting a bar behind it, and wasting the light output and optics as it fires into the back of the plate?

AECC6442-D395-4D61-8637-CE20953E877F.jpg I feel this was my best option when I had my 2020 Pro. Plenty of off road light Bajadesigns.

with the calirasied you can install it on the lower side - i plan on trimming out the plastic fill below the sensor so it will not be covered at all. A hot utility knife should do the job.

I was going to cut out the the diamonds and do this as well, but then I went the lp4s on each side route ...work's fine w/ TSS so far.

IMO this is better option than behind grill. Grill seem to block some of the light out put.

No questions about your roof rack light. I really wish I could do that. That is soo awesome..
