At what lift heights does one need to start replacing, relocating or extending brake lines and drive shafts on a 5th gen?

I don't really hear about anyone replacing them. But, most of the lift options top out around 3".

How high are you looking to go?

Do a normal 3" suspension lift then add any further lift you may want by doing a body lift. It'll save you tons of headaches. imo

I have 2.75-3” up front and I put in a diff drop to ease up the angles on the front CVs.

I’m also one of the few with an adjustable rear panhard rod/torsion bar to put back the rear wheels in center.

With my experience it depends on how much flex the suspension has. My ELKA 2.5s (3in front 2in rear loft) needed extended brake likes.

I think suspension like Kings with extended travel also needs extended brake lines.

Regular travel suspension lift kits do not need that from what I was told by my 4x4 shop Toytec here in Denver CO.

i’m doing Bilstein 6112s up front at 2.5 and the bilstein 1” rear coils. From reading the posts, it doesnt look like i will need to modify brake lines or drive shafts.

Nice! I'm on a 6112/5100 setup at 2.3/1.5" and no issues. Post pictures once you get it installed!
