Dome light won't come on

I was swapping out my interior bulbs for LEDs. I took the dome light off, made the switch, checked it worked and went to put it back together. When i put the assembly back in the headliner, the light went out. I swapped the led out for the original, nothing. I checked the dome fuse under the hood and it is still good. My dome light switch doesn't have any resistance when I attempt to move it from door/on/off position

 

Check the contacts in the dome light. That little metal thing it hooks into gets loose and it may not actually be touching the right place. I have a rubber and holding mine tighter to make sure it does not shift (had a similar issue to you) Also, try putting the light in the other way, sometimes it matters, depending in the light, although usually only in LEDs and you said it was working at one point,
