Have about 160 miles on the 4Runner. I noticed this before I even got it off the lot. Is the suspension on the back a bit bouncy on these rides? Or does the stock stuff just suck? It just seems bouncy to me. Oh it’s an sr5 premium 2021.

It’s on the softer side for sure. I would’ve asked before I bought if something seemed off.

well I have no frame of reference. I'm assuming it's just the way it is seeing it's new. I drive a 3/4 power wagon and we are coming from a Durango R/T which I know has stiff suspension. Just wanted a bit of confirmation. Would Bilsteins stiffen it a bit? I've always liked the Bilsteins for an upgrade on anything else I've owned.

Yeah I haven't noticed the side lean and I'm picky as shit but we've only had it a couple days. I'm debating whether or not to level it seeing you put like ten lbs in the back and it levels. I'll toss the new tires and rims on tomorrow to see if they rub and then go from there. Stock size. Differently offset. I went with a zero.

I like the soft ride. IMHO, it would be less fatiguing on long road trips.

Yes - it's bouncy for me. I traded my Highlander to 4Runner and noticed the difference.

Mine was not bouncy. It was soft. Very soft, and very comfortable.

If your’s bounces after being compressed, it means you have a blown shock.

Yeah, a set of Bilsteins will definitely improve the ride quality.
