Got the solar panel positive ran in the rain. Quick question for the 12v gurus. I’ve seen people ground things to the roof rack before can the solar panel be done that way as well. I’m getting mixed answers amongst friends and even red arc just shows a general ground location for the panels so I’m hoping that’s the case because the 10g wire is too thick to have two in the windshield Channel.

I grounded my solar panel to one of the spare predrilled holes on the fender since it ties in to the body. The roof rack can be a ok ground spot except if it's made out of aluminum where actual steel would be a better choice. As a electrician I rather have a solid ground point then half ass it because it's closer. Just my .02

Are you talking about the racking being aluminum? I’m 99.9% sure my gobi is steel.

Awesome! Can’t wait as I’m doing the same with my lunar rock, added bull bar to LoPro though. Looks excellent!

Installed my new Weathertech floor liners today after work. Also installed new CB antenna mount on rack and ran cable part of way thru back end of truck. Just waiting on antenna to arrive and then test and tune.

My intention is to know the safe angle and not roll over on trails. I use the one with 45° on my TRD ORP and got the 30° for TRD Pro. I think 30° one is not enough. I think we can go up to 45° before roll over risk.

Search for "Sun Company Lev-o-gage" on Amazon. Lot of options to choose from.

I told her a story about California fire season and how the fire season seemed to have started earlier this year. I let her know we will be touching dirt or snow very soon. The forest is going to reopen.

When you do finally take her, take her around the big cities so she doesn't see all the graffiti, trash and the homeless. Tell her it was once a state where people wanted to come and raise a family and not move away from, tell her all the good things about California and not how it is now. Take her to northwest coast and mountains and show the beautiful sites and not burned down towns and trees, remind her it was once a beautiful state to live in not infested by the left. Hope some day we can make it right again.

No mine is the black camo wrapped one. The white one is a buddy of mines and he likes it quite a bit. He has said he wished he had a few more things that I think come with the tent but cvt didn’t send them.

Ready for expo. Finally had a break in the rain to install the solar panel on the tent. Swapped the white led that came with it for a multi color one with remote so I can dim it or change to red or amber to keep bugs away. And got my awning re mounted to the tent with some brackets a buddy whipped up for me real quick the other night. 7050AB0C-9990-4834-B486-7D3DC9A5FA80.jpg
