DD amber fogs and DD light bar.

 

How do those DD light bars perform in the grille? Are they spot? flood? Combo? How are they being used?

I was looking at getting a set to use as supplemental highbeams on my 21 TRD Pro.

 

They are called "Driving". point straight ahead. There are other options. I got that version to assist with the pathetic halogen headlights.
They can easily be angled up/down/Rt-Lft. I have angled slightly down and straight ahead so not to blind oncoming traffic.

Gonna live with it a while, then may change it. If I get better headlights, I will aim the bar higher and use like a traditional bar.

 

so, how is the actual performance? Do they live up to what you thought they would be? Do you have any pics showing the performance while driving? If you could post them, that would be awesome!! Thanks!!

I am also considering the Baja Onx6+ 10” light bars in the upper grille. On paper, those things look like BEASTS!!!

I've got yellow LED DRLs, and a set of Raptor lights (smoke lens, black bodies, amber LEDs) with an OEM-style switch to install. Hope to get all that done in the next couple of days. Replaced the turn signals with amber LEDs, so they're nice and bright as well. Have the Lamin-X yellow film for the driving lights, but I'm going to take another look at those and see if I can just change the bulb. If not, then Lamin-X it is!

 

I have switch back LED's for my turn signals and put Lamin-X yellow film on my fog's...

(I may give in and add raptor lights to the grill later)

 

My 2021 SR5 Premium has numerous lighting upgrades:

- Diode Dynamics SS5 Pro spot beams behind the grill
- Diode Dynamics SS3 Max selective yellow fogs
- VLED's V6 Triton Extreme turn / parking lights
- AC Delco HIR1 high beams

Here's what things look like with the factory low beams, the SS3 fogs and the strictly cosmetic SS5 backlight feature.



And just in case you were worried about the grill blocking too much of the SS5's.



I do not believe in taking pictures facing a vehicle at night to show / prove how bright my lights are. Virtually anything will look bright from that angle. I only believe in shots from the driver's seat. Here's the SS5's with my high beams. The road drops off about a half mile out.

 

I wanted to get a set of these for my truck, but I think they are priced around $400-ish dollars. That's way too much just for lights.

 

Let's just say we're waaay over that figure. But where I find myself driving at night, I really need long distance lighting. So, for me, it was well worth the investment.

I used some left over brackets for the 4in spot lights.

I used a Rago Fabrications mount and crossbar system.

 

Rago brackets (without crossbar system) also fit 32in light bars. Pic from my TRD ORP -
