I just purchased a 2021 TRD ORP with the audio system that has been upgraded to navigation. Coming from a 2019 OR and Limited with the JBL system, I definitely like the larger screen - but I find the usability of the previous system to be better. In the 2019 models, when using USB based music, the alphabetized searching was a breeze - push a letter and scroll down and into the music - all by the steering wheel controls. The search feature on the new system is brutal with keyboard entry...

But my biggest issue is the system locks-out the browser function when the car is in motion - this is crazy. How are you suppose to change artist and albums while driving? Voice control makes you want to drive off a bridge!!!! Is Naviks the best option to bypass the lock-out?

I did upgrade all the speakers and added sound deadening.

    Dash: Kenwood Excelon KFC-X2C
    Front Doors: Infinity Kappa 693M
Rear Doors and Hatch: Infinity Kappa 62ix

The system sounds really good but I am hoping someone can help with some options to defeat the lock-out of the browser function.

Your vehicle has a voice assistant that can do that for you. You can also use Siri for that if you use Carplay.

Fully understand using the voice assistant - the accuracy is so, so, especially with complex artists and/or album/song names and titles.
I have a 512GB flash drive with 9,441 lossless (FLAC) songs across 734 Artists and 1,102 albums and most of the time I just want to scroll through the artist lists, go the next tier down and pick an album to play....a bit old school - I know.

I purchased the Naviks 2020 - 2021 Toyota 4Runner (ENTUNE 3) Motion Lockout Bypass. Easy install, the unit came preprogramed and is active out of the box. The unit stays in the mode that was it's last state (active or inactive) when you turn off and restart the truck. So far it works great, you can browse and search the music on the USB drive, search on the Nav screen for addresses, the phone dial pad is also available and the album art stays displayed on the screen from the USB drive. Worth the $175 for me. https://naviks.com/i-24077029-2020-...ockout-bypass-nav-usb-playlist-in-motion.html
