    3" lift with 285/75/16
im currently in the process of gathering as much info on this as topic as possible. i have to widen my stance on my '99 runner. i have installed a 3" lift with 285/70/17 and they barley clear. i have about a half inch gap from the top of my tires to the front shocks. i would like to widen it all the way around but i also want the safest way possible. i would like to hear any and all points of view on this from either people who have already done this or have any great ideas. thanks!

i ran spidertrax spacers up front with no issues, other options would be look for a set of wheels.

on the rear i would avoid spacers, i busted a shaft with them.

Spidertrax will get you 1.25" more.

I'm just starting to look at wheel spacers and know nothing at this point...Can you provide details on why spacers can be bad for a shaft?

Be a little more specific for me. What shaft?

In my previous post above, I quoted a post from @orbot. I'm also trying to figure out what shaft can break if spacers are used in the rear.

That's a good question because my rig had 37s on it and I had no issues at all....
