I'm new here, but have been experimenting with upgraded lighting since 1976. (Yea, I'm that old.) So yes, I know a little bit about what works and what doesn't work when it comes to lighting. More importantly, I understand that "brighter" doesn't always equate to "better lighting."

As for which fog light is the best, between my 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport and my new 4Runner, I've tried OEM halogen, OEM LED, Morimoto LED, KC, Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport, Pro and now Max. I can tell you from personal experience that the Max's are far in a way the best fogs I've ever tried. As has already been said though, proper aim is critical.

thanks for input/advice. I agree, the DD fog is brighter than the Baja Design. And I bought Sport, Not Max.
Using the basic install, they are aimed too high. When I have free time again, I'll have to dig back in and try to adjust down as memario1214 described.

The DD lite bar is a very clean install. I combined with CaliRaised LED dash switch. When aimed forward, they gave very good light output.

both DD lights look bad with the stock halogen headlights. Different color and overwhelm this low output headlight. This is not the case on my Tacoma with the better stock TRD led headlites. I'll try memario's idea to upgrade bulb first.
