Hello everyone! I’m having some issues with my 2018 4Runner hoping someone can help. For some reason my fog lights and my tail lights won’t light up when driving at night, but my indicators and break lights do light up. Pulled the fuse for my tail lights and it was burnt tried putting a new fuse but kept getting burned every time. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Could possibly be as simple as a burned out bulb somewhere… but most likely the issue is elsewhere. Do you have any aftermarket wiring tapped into your lights circuit? Like a trailer wiring kit, aftermarket lights, HID’s, etc…? If so, would try removing it and then see if the fuse popping persists. If so, or none of that applies, then it’s time to start tracing the wiring harness and look for any worn/exposed wiring. Or of course if you’re still warranty by chance, just let it be a dealerships problem to solve.

I do have aftermarket LED lights. I’ve had them for about 6 months now but I’ll try removing them to see if that’s the issue. Thanks!
