Indiana newbie to Toyota - 2021 TRD Premium

Hi all,
Excited to be a part of the 4Runner community very soon.
Have owned various Lexus RX's over the years - Two from 1st Gen RX 300's (still have one of them my daughter drives) and different leases on RX350's for the wife over the years. LOVED every one of them.

I've purchased a 2021 TRD Premium FOR ME and it arrives at the dealership today.

I'll be heading over to pick it up later in the week. Purchased it out of town as unfortunately the two dealers in my city wanted to play games and apparently thought i was ignorant and can't do math or was blind. Welp being in the engineering profession for product development turns out i can do math and i drive a car so not blind either. Ridiculous behavior.

Anyway a dealer the state next door worked with me and even in these crazy times of vehicles is also NOT charging me MSRP for the vehicle. Heck, the new one is less than pricing for 2 year old used ones. wild.

Any who -- looking forward to engaging with this community over time. Already learning some amazing information form this forum.

First mod will be an AVS aeroskin on the hood edge and then some self-healing paint film on the front and the door cups. The ladies nails do some damage on black paint in that area. WOW.

After that - I really like the TRD Pro grill and been reading up on folks experience on this forum. If i'm reading it right the parts need to go to a body shop to be top coat painted (sure i could rattle can it but it wouldn't match factory..).

Lastly - living here in the midwest and the lovely salt and chemicals they put on roads in winter - is there any rust proofing on the underbody/chassis folks would recommend? Yes i was my vehicles and know the absolute importance of underbody washing - just thought while it's virgin if there's a coating or something i should consider as i plan to ride this vehicle to it's end of life...

Picked her up yesterday!
Ironically i purchased it out of state as the dealer i purchased from worked with me and wasnt charging MSRP and gave me a fair value for my trade. Im going though paperwork in glove box and find shipper info and such not normally left with the car. It was sold originally to on of my local dealers! LMAO!

had her all spiffed up and on showroom floor waiting on me.

The dealers in Seattle are also sketchy so I am open to buying from out of my area and driving it home !

Surely - While not something mind blowing or what it would be when times are normal it's by far the best I've found this way.
I got $1,000 under MSRP ----AND i got them to include the all weather floor liners.

BUT they also worked with me on my trade - ended up $2,700 more on my trade than i was getting locally which results also in more of tax offset as a result of the trade.

the dealer is Firelands Toyota in Sandusky OH - The sales guy I had is Derek Gainey - good dude.
